Rachel Caldwell, Director of Systems & Project Management

Rachel Caldwell is the Director of Systems and Project Management of EHPV Management Group’s Networking and Technology Services. Rachel is an accomplished business leader with deep technology experience. She is responsible for the development of the company’s expansive technology portfolio and building technologies to deliver the company’s vision. Her strategy has been to apply efficiencies and standardization to prepare the company for future growth opportunities.

 

Rachel joined EHPV Management Group in 2018. She has served in various technical leadership roles in several different industries for the past 20 years.

 

She is a member of the Women in Technology of the Heartland Group and is extremely passionate about supporting women in technology and sciences. Also, she serves on the Management Information Systems Advisory Board for Bellevue University, where she helps develop the curriculum for the ever-changing technology in the workplace.

 

Rachel holds an MIS degree from Bellevue University. She has a daughter and two sons that keep her very busy. Her husband is a director of technology, so when they are not comparing geeky stories, they enjoy family time and riding their motorcycles.

Michelle Nekuda, Director of Human Resources

Michelle Nekuda is the Director of Human Resources. Michelle has been in

leadership roles in Human Resources & Safety Management for over 25 years.

Michelle joined the EHPV Management Group in December 2022. Michelle leads the company’s initiatives related to recruitment, compensation, engagement, development, and overall well-being of the company’s 400 + workforce.

Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources and a master’s in

management at Bellevue University. She is passionate about the education and well-being of others, which includes being part of the faculty at Columbia Southern University, as an adjunct professor at Bellevue University, and has served six years on the

Board of Governors at Metropolitan Community College.

She and her husband of over 30 years, Jim, have three children and six grandchildren. They enjoy their time living at Beaver Lake in Nebraska and traveling.

Becky Pence, Director of Operations for Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar

Becky Pence is the Director of Operations for the locally-owned Big Red

Restaurant & Sports Bar. Becky oversees the day-to-day activities of five restaurants, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively with an emphasis on the quality of food and employee morale.

Becky started her career at Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar as an Assistant Manager and has served as General Manager for the past ten years in Fremont, Nebraska.

Her display of passion and intent is steadfast in her accomplishments throughout

her 21 years with the company.

As a lifelong resident of Fremont, she has been engaged in supporting local businesses, school activities, and community happenings. She has been a member of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce for ten years. She is an animal activist, library enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Bob Rech, Director of Operations of Keno Lottery Services

Bob Rech is the Director of Operations of Keno Lottery Services. Bob’s

involvement in the company dates back to 2011.

Bob oversees all aspects of Lottery Services and Keno Operations and works to

develop, implement, and monitor all aspects of the operations ensuring all compliance goals and objectives are maintained. He cultivated his experience working

across several sectors within lottery services and understands the importance

of customer service, vendor relations, and financial accountability. By taking a creative approach to the business, he has led numerous innovations to Keno Operations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management from Wayne State College. He is an avid sports

enthusiast, runner, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Melodi Szymczak, Director of Marketing

As the EHPV Management Group’s director of marketing, Melodi Szymczak is responsible for linking the company’s vision to the customer-focused operations of its business units to build a cohesive brand, create consumer awareness and advocacy, and drive customer preference for the brands every day. Her main mission is to create impact and drive results while sharing her zest for life, business development and marketing.

Ms. Szymczak’s expertise includes 25 years in marketing, sales and client-side roles, including leadership positions at RD Industries, Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions and Vital Learning. She has served on the board of directors for the Nebraska Association for Talent Development and the American Council on Education, and she volunteers to support hardworking high school students in DECA and FBLA programs.

Ms. Szymczak received her bachelor of science degree in marketing and communications from Dana College, and she holds several business and skill certifications. Besides marketing, Ms. Szymczak has a true passion for her family and friends. She loves the outdoors and especially enjoys hiking, fishing and road trips.
